The Conference
FUTURE OF FOOTBALL BUSINESS is the conference for digitization, innovation and future topics in football business. International experts in their fields will provide insights into topics such as fan engagement, modern infrastructure, new monetisation possibilities, internationalisation, the use of data and many other hot topics in the football business. Experts from clubs and economy present their best practices or learnings and discuss how to handle those changes and to use emerging opportunities. Masterclasses dive deeper into selected topics such as change management, online marketing or sponsoring. This year, an additional focus will be on startups from the football business ecosystem. We give them a stage to present themselves - and clubs and companies the opportunity to deal with new ideas.

Football Innovation Awards

The Football Innovation Award will be presented for the first time at the FUTURE OF FOOTBALL BUSINESS-Conference 2019 in three categories – “Innovative Startup”, “Innovative Club” and “Innovative Sponsorship”.

Sports Business Career Day

On the day before the conference, the Sports Business Career Day takes place as a side event at the Raiffeisen Sportpark in Graz. Future sports business employees will gain insights into the various areas and have the opportunity to talk personally with potential employers - agencies, service providers or clubs and associations - about vacancies, internships or requirements and work areas. The entrance is free.

Startup Pitch

Startups can apply to pitch in front of international experts from companies, clubs and leagues. The number of pitches is limited to ten. Apply now and present you idea to partners like the Austrian tipico Bundesliga.
